Collection
The digitalization of the collection of the Amsterdam Tattoo Museum is work in progress. The database now contains more than 24000 objects. The collection itself is even bigger; around 40000 objects and still growing.
This part is under construction but will soon be online!
We have chosen to start with digitalizing the photo collection, flash (tattoo designs), tattoo machines, business cards and some other printed material.
The description of the items is a huge amount of work. We continuously add new data and the database is updated daily. A lot is done, but far more is yet to come, so keep posted!
